The Sims wouldn’t be ‘The Sims’ if it weren’t for the wonderful modding community that expand the game in territories which EA restricted us from. Honestly, The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 had some pretty mind-blowing content such as functioning TARDIS’s and certain animation sets.

Usually, had anyone asked me where’s the best place to download custom content for The Sims, I’d immediately say ‘ModTheSims‘ without a thought, however seeing as The Sims 4 is still a new game, the modding community haven’t worked on much as of yet, with there still being the coming months when we’re most likely to find something interesting there.

As of now though, most of The Sims 4 mods are being redirected by ‘My Sims 4 Blog‘ (just to clarify the ‘my’ does not mean I personally own it), which simplifies the search online for you to look up for certain mods. These mods featured are mainly focused on the Create-A-Sim demo which means that some of the Create-a-sim content will be buggy or won’t function at all. However most of the content you will find have been updated to also work on The Sims 4 base game, meaning you can add additional hairstyles, clothing, body modifications, buildings, animations, graphical mods and more!

Use the sidebar on ‘My Sims 4 Blog‘ in order to break-down your search to find the content you’re looking for, quickly.

I’ve most enjoyed the additional tweaks to facial hair from the website, but what’s your favourite modification so far?
