It seems like wherever you go, you cannot escape discussions and references of Mad Max: Fury Road, so much so that a Youtuber used Mario Kart computer generated effects and applied it to the Fury Road trailer.
Of course such a thing couldn’t possibly happen in real life – Nintendo wouldn’t licence Mad Max, and the film franchise is hardly appropriate for the family friendly kart racer. But I’ll most likely end up blurting out “oh what a lovely day” every time I’m at a moment of peril from green shells, blue shells and the rest.
Mad Max: Fury Road was released at the 14th May 2015 in the UK and is still available for screening in cinemas worldwide. The spectacular film isn’t one to miss, even if it lacks the Mario Kart collaboration.
