It’s just one more day for Doctor Who season 8 to debut, which appears to be one of the most hyped seasons yet! If you happen to live in London today, you must definitely walk to Parliament Square and see the TARDIS on display notifying by-passers that Doctor Who is returning to our screens!
However for those less fortunate of being around London at this time, you can instead head to youtube.com and play the mini interactive Doctor Who game located on the advert header at the top of the website. In order to see this, you must have your Adblock paused momentarily to load the game up; once done, you’ll see a countdown for the new episode, as well as an option to click on the advert to activate the game!
Once done, you’ll be presented with an instruction page which explains to use the ‘W,A,S,D’ keys in order to move the TARDIS to control it flying around the Time Vortex. The aim of the game is to keep the TARDIS centred in the middle of the Time Vortex for as long as possible. Once completed, you are presented with an exclusive sneak peak of the upcoming ‘Deep Breath’ episode, or if you lose you’ll watch an interview featuring Jenna Louise Coleman, Peter Capaldi and Steven Moffat as they talk about the new season.
I shall not say any more than this other than it’s a fantastic promotional stunt by the BBC, and all Whovians should check this out now!
