EA has recently announced that they’ll no longer support the popular 10 year old PC game ‘The Sims 2’, allowing the company to focus primarily on patches and updates for it’s current game ‘The Sims 3’ and preparing the release of the upcoming ‘The Sims 4’.
Considering how many gamers complain of purchasing a “half completed” game, with the inevitable extension packs adding in features and objects that should’ve ideally been implemented in the beginning, The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection is a fantastic offer!
The Ultimate Collection contains the original base game alongside the eight extension packs which were released and also all the “extra stuff” packs with various themes for decor, clothing and such.
Anyone interested in grabbing the game for free legally, they should do so now with the completed set. The instructions follows as:
- Start by downloading and installing Origin. If you already have Origin you can skip to step 3.
- Not an Origin member? Create a free Origin Account to get in the game.
- Launch Origin and log into your Origin Account.
- From the ‘Games’ tab in the Origin menu, select ‘Redeem Product Code’ and enter the code

However the game is only supporting any compatible Windows OS and nothing else. Also, you should aim to do this before July 31st as at 10AM PDT that day, the ‘I-LOVE-THE-SIMS’ code will expire.
